Join us For an open water celebration of diversity and inclusivity
Enjoy a fast and fun 1.5 mile / 2.5 kilometer swim in NYC’s Hudson River in the shadow of the Manhattan skyline. The current will be in your favor as you pass the historic West Village en route to Gansevoort Peninsula Beach. Experience the thrill of open water swimming in NYC in this annual celebration of diversity and inclusivity.

To participate you must be able to swim for at least 40 minutes without stopping. Open water swim experience is preferred, but not required.
Expect temperatures around 64-68F/17-20C.
Wetsuits are permitted.
The entry fee covers the on water safety flotilla and other complexities of staging a sporting event in the greatest city in the world.
It also includes some awesome swag! Each swimmer will receive a durable open water swim buoy/dry bag, a commemorative t shirt, a silicone swim cap, and a reusable tote bag.
