Follow us for an epic swim around Manhattan Island to raise funds for the Stand By Me Foundation.

On June 8, a six person relay team will take turns in the waters that surround Manhattan Island to complete a full 28.5 Mile | 45.8 Kilometer circumnavigation in support of making the transformative power of swimming available to athletes of all levels.

  • ~9:12 AM – START Pier A
    • ~ 9:42 AM – Manhattan Bridge
    • ~10:12 AM – 14th Street Power Plant
    • ~11:12 AM – Harlem Footbridge and Ward’s Island
    • ~12:42 PM – High Bridge
    • ~01:12 PM – Harlem Boathouse (approximate half way point of swim by distance)
  • ~2:42 PM – George Washington Bridge / Little Red Lighthouse
  • ~3:42 PM – 79th Street Boat Basin
  • ~4:27 PM – The Intrepid Museum
  • ~4:42 PM – Chelsea Piers
    • ~5:12 PM – Near Pier 25/North Cove
  • ~5:42 PM – Near Wall Approaching Pier A – FINISH

We are a non-profit organization established in 2012 by international swim coaches and Olympic swimmers.

Our primary mission is to empower athletes at every level – from those who are just learning to those who are competing and even beyond.

We hold a firm belief in the transformative power of water. We see swimming not just as a sport, but also as a vital life skill that instills discipline, resilience, and promotes physical fitness. Our vision is a world where every individual, irrespective of their background or resources, can confidently identify themselves as a swimmer.
