The current will be in your favor as you pass the historic West Village en route to the newly opened Gansevoort Peninsula Beach. TNYA is an inclusive community of aquatics athletes that welcomes adults of every ability, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, race, ethnicity, nationality, and creed. We believe aquatic sports are for everyone. No matter your level of experience – from learning to swim to building your confidence in the pool to competition-level training – and no matter your aquatic sport of choice – swimming, water polo, or artistic swimming (aka synchronized swimming) – we have a practice, and a community, for you!

Founded against the tragic backdrop of the AIDS crisis, our mission amplifies the power of collective giving and accessible, equitable philanthropy.
